What we collect

• A nickname or first name you choose (never full legal names)
• Your quiz answers and your partner's predictions
• Basic server logs for security and rate limiting
• If you sign in: your email, user id, and session cookies via Supabase GoTrue

What we don't collect

• No account or email required for the Quick Challenge
• No addresses, phone numbers, finances, or health history
• We do not use raw quiz answers for ad targeting

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep LoveGenius working — including sign-in sessions when you use Google login (cookie prefix sb-lovegenius). Analytics cookies load only if you choose Accept all on the cookie banner. When enabled, analytics records page navigation — never quiz answers or nicknames.

Your cookie and terms choice is stored as lg-consent and in local storage under lg_cookie_consent_v1. You can reopen cookie settings from the site footer at any time.

Retention

• Unfinished challenges: deleted after 7 days
• Completed challenges: deleted after 90 days by default

Your controls

Creators receive a private management secret when publishing a challenge. Use it to delete a challenge at any time via our manage API. Challenge and result pages are marked noindex so they won't appear in search engines.
